Stanislav Ivanov

President of the DeafSkills International Association

Vice-President of All-Russian Society of the Deaf (VOG) which is one of the most prominent All-Russian public organizations of disabled.

Coordinates the activities of the VOG in whole and of its offices in the field of

  • rehabilitation, integration and adaptation of disabled people;
  • the development of Russian sign language;
  • physical education and sports, education, employment;
  • solving problems of veterans and youth. In 1995 he graduated from the Moscow State Academy of Physical Culture majoring in Physical culture and sport. 

 In 2014, he graduated from the Russian State Social University, majoring in Management with the magister degree. Champion of Deaflympics 2005 in beach volleyball, the European champion in volleyball, a multiple winner of the official international and national competitions.

Lidia Frolova

Vice-president of the DeafSkills International Association

President of Abilympics Russia.

First Russian Official delegate of WorldSkills International.

She was the initiator of Russia joining the WorldSkills International in 2012 with support of Russian Ministry of Education.

In 2014 she was the initiator of Russia joining the International Abilympiсs Federation and with the support of public organizations of disabled persons, including the All-Russian Society of the Deaf she created new organization Abilympics Russia.

Slava Klimov

Coordinator of International Relations and Media 
Slava graduated from Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C, USA, with a B.A. degree in Television and Digital media in 2004. Upon graduating, he worked as eLearning Facilitator at Gallaudet University on digital technology and multimedia. Assisted faculty and teachers in enhancing on-campus and distance learning student experiences by effectively and strategically using available features of the learning management system, collaboration tools, video tools, and much more. 
From 2010 to 2014, he worked for Deaf Culture Centre in Toronto, Canada and concurrently engaged in the creation of the Internet portal "H3 Network Media Alliance", where H3 media company still cover the news in international Sign.
From 2014 to 2018, he worked as Media Director for the International Committee of Sports for the Deaf (ICSD), Deaflympics, an International Olympic Committee (IOC) sanctioned event which Deaf athletes compete at an elite event. ICSD is the main governing body responsible for the organisation of Deaflympics and World Deaf Championships. Organised successfully in media relations for 2015 Winter and 2017 Summer Deaflympics in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia and Samsun, Turkey respectively as well as World Deaf Championships. 
Champion of Deaflympics in ice hockey in 1991 in Banff, Canada. 
Slava has two boys, residing in the United States.

DeafSkills movement unite champions, experts and sponsors in projects and initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life, economic and professional development of the deaf in the world.

DeafSkills is not just a system of championships but an multi-stage work of the expert community to establish a system of early career guidance, new learning technologies, efficient system of employment of the deaf.
